- What is Biomimicry
- Biomimicry is the study of natural organisms. Designers can study living things such as leaves and their cellular structure to improve the efficiency of solar panels
- For this project we made boxes and we used 2D design to create the lids of our boxes, which then went on to manufacture on the laser cutter.
- For engraving onto the wood lids we used 'Blue lines' on our work so that the laser cutter could read it. By using the laser cutter, we were able to ensure that our work was what we wanted. We could have produced many more box lids, but hopefully when our design came out from the laser cutter it looked exactly like the CAD design
