1. CONCEPTUAL MEANING

   • It has syntactic structure
   • It has well formed structures.
   • The hanburger ate the boy.

   • Coherent sentences with real roles that each person, or object can do.

2. PARTICULAR FEATURES

   • Animate or not animate
   • Attempting to differenciate meaning of each word in a language from every other word.
   • Features are required in a noun in order to identify it as the subject of a particular verb.
   • These features give the ability to predict which nouns make this sentence semantically "odd"

3. ANALYSIS CONCEPTUAL COMPONENTS OF WORD MEANING

   • For many words in language, it may not be as easy to come up with real components of meaning.
   • Analysis on the words "advice" "threat" "warning"
   • This approach involves a view of words in a language as some sort of containers that carry meaning components.
   • There is clearly more to meaning of words than basic type of features.
