1. BASIC CONCEPTS

   • Outcome: posible answers.
   • Sample Espace: set of all posible outcomes.
   • Event: any such subset of sample
   • Experiment: any observation of mesurement of a random phenomena
   • Odds: compare the number of favourable outcomes to the number of unfavorable outcomes.
   • Formulas
     • Theoretical: P(E)= #Favourable outcomes/Total#of outcomes
     • Empirical: P(S)=#Times event ocurred/#Times experiment was performed

2. EVENTS INVOLVING "NOT" AND "NOR"

   • Properties of Probabilility
     • Certain event: P(E)=1
     • Impossible events: P(E)=0
     • Probability value: 0<P(E)<1
   • Probability of the complemet
     • P(not E)=1-P(e)
   • Addition rule of probability
     • Any 2 events: P(A or B)= P(A)+P(B)-P(A intersection B)
     • Mutually Exclusive events: P(A or B)= P(A)+P(B)
       • 2 events without outcomes in common
