1. Malware

   • Viruses
     • Try to cause harm by duplicating , deleting or making changes to other computers
   • Spyware
     • Spyware spies on the user aims to send back as much information as possible such as passwords , usernames and card details. A common spyware is a key logger
   • Adware
     • It does not harm the computer it aims to download and display unwanted ads and collect info about you and also changes your default homepage
   • Pharming
     • Pharming tries to change the IP address so the user is sent to a phoney website so that money is sent to them and not where it is meant to go to

2. Phising

   • People pose as legitimate buisness and try to get you to enter your account details such as credit card info by luring people with emails posing as the company

3. Brute Force Attacks

   • A criminal will repeteadly attempt to hack an account by using thousands of passwords against a particular username until access is granted

4. Denial of Service Attacks (DoS)

   • Aims to take a webiste down by using the websites resources by creating a lot of fake traffic to being the website down as it put pressure on the server and the CPU

5. SQL Injections

   • In a SQL Injection , you can boly on some SQL to the end of a password which will alter the SQL statement and allow you to access the accounts of all users
