1. Therapeutic measures that are applied as a matter of urgency to victims of sudden-onset accidents or diseases, until they have specialized treatment

2. HEART ATTACK

   • It occurs when the flow of blood to the heart is blocked.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Pressure in your chest or arms, nausea, indigestion, heartburn or abdominal pain, shortness of breath, cold sweat, fatigue and lightheadedness or sudden dizziness.

3. FAINTING

   • It is a sudden and temporary loss of consciousness. This usually occurs due to a lack of oxygen reaching the brain.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Dizziness, weakness, sweating, blurred vision- seeing spots, headache,sensation that the room is moving.

4. STOMACH PAIN

   • It is a pain that occurs between the chest and pelvic regions. It can be crampy, achy, dull, intermittent or sharp.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Constipation, diarrhea, stomach flu acid reflux, vomiting and stress.

5. GOING INTO LABOUR

   • It is a series of progressive and continuous contractions of the uterus that help it dilate and become thinner in the cervix to allow the fetus to pass through the birth canal.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Erasure, dilation, increased vaginal discharge, nesting, rupture of membranes and contractions.

6. HAVING A SEIZURE

   • It is a sudden and uncontrolled electrical disturbance of the brain.It can lead to changes in behavior, movements or feelings, as well as in levels of knowledge.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Temporary confusion, absence episodes, uncontrollable spasmodic movements of arms and legs.Loss of consciousness or consciousness Cognitive or emotional symptoms, such as fear, anxiety or déj vu

7. HIT ON THE HEAD

   • It is any sort of injury to your brain, skull, or scalp. This can range from a mild bump or bruise to a traumatic brain injury.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Headache, ringing in the ears, nausea, vomiting, fatigue or drowsiness and blurred vision.

8. CUTS

   • It is an area of injured skin that has been penetrated by a sharp surface like a knife. The wound usually bleeds and is open from the edges.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Redness, swelling, swelling, heat, pain, flaking, stinging, pustules and pus formation.

9. ASTHMA

   • It is a long-term disease of the lungs. It causes your airways to get inflamed and narrow, and it makes it hard to breathe.
     • SYMPTOMS
       • Coughing, wheezing, a whistling sound when you breathe,shortness of breath, tightness. Pain or pressure in your chest.

10. CHOKING

    • It is a blockage of the upper airway by food or other objects, which prevents a person from breathing effectively.
      • SYMPTOMS
        • Coughing or gagging,hand signals and panic (sometimes pointing to the throat),sudden inability to talk, grab the throat with one or both hands, wheezing,passing out.

11. BEHAVE AGGRESSIVELY

    • It can cause physical or emotional harm to others. It may range from verbal abuse to physical abuse. It can also involve harming personal property.
      • SYMPTOMS
        • Anxiety, moodiness, agitation, disorientation or memory problems, depression or flat affect,trouble with concentration and attention.
