1. Mature mast cells are present only in tissues.

2. Home of many tissues

3. They are immune cells derived from the myeloid lineage.

4. They arise in the bone marrow.

5. Found in loose connective tissue (areolar).

6. They are important in the induction of the inflammatory cascade.

7. Associated pathologies.

   • Mast cell activation syndrome.
   • Urticaria.
   • Type 1 hypersensitivity.
   • Mast cells.

8. Mononuclear cells.

9. Two types

   • MC (T) cells
   • (MC (TC) cells

10. They are essential in tissue repair and angiogenesis.

11. The presence of cytoplasmic granules characterizes them.
