   • -HTTPS, secure hypertext transfer protocol.
   • -HTTP, hypertext transfer protocol.

4. Verify the legitimacy of a web page

   • -Recognize the signs of malicious software.
   • -Check that the URL is correct.
   • -Verify your digital certificate.
   • -Check that the page is an HTTPS.
   • -Activate browser security tools.
