what is virtual memory
- virtual memory is a page file used on the HDD when the RAM has run out of memory it is a temporary solution for memory to be stored as it can not be stored in the RAM . Virtual memory is volitile just like RAM .
page file
- A page file is a reserved part of the hard drive which is used when there is an overflow of memory that the RAM cant hold
