Super Smash Bros Algorithm
Prescribed Criteria
- 1. Develop an Algorithm using Pseudocode conventions
- Develop an algorithm for either Super Smash Bros or Mario cart using pseudo code
- Pseudo code conventions must be used in the algorithm. Such as all the key words need to be bold and in capitals. All code that is part of a code should be indented. Code should start with START and END
- Example keywords for pseudo code – IF, THEN, WHILE, START, END, ELSE, IS EQUAL TO.
- 2. Super Smash Bros: Develop an ultimate high damage finishing offensive strategy to eliminate the opponent
- Make a high damage move or strategy for our Super Smash Bros
- We need to focus on offensive moves to attack and do not need to worry about defence
- The moves should kill the opponent
- Use five (5) conditions (IF, ELSEIF, ELSE) in your pseudocode
- We need to make an algorithm for 5 moves using keywords
- All algorithms will use correct pseudo code grammar
- I will double check my code to make sure all the keywords and code are correct.
- 1. Develop an Algorithm using Pseudocode conventions
Algorithm constructs
- Assignments
- An assignment is given a value to a variable.
- For example a variable is User name and the assignment could be USER is equal TO Arthur.
- An assignment is given a value to a variable.
- Sequence
- A sequence is multiple steps to do one objective
- e.g. to open a computer the code could be, GRAB computer, TURN on computer ENTER pin. this is multiple steps to do one thing.
- A sequence is multiple steps to do one objective
- Selection
- Allows the program to chose between different actions
- e.g. if distance is less then 5 then go into rage otherwise fight normally. this lets the code choose between going into rage mode and stay in the same stage.
- Allows the program to chose between different actions
- Condition
- A condition is a logical test that evaluates true or false. it sets out the condition that must be true in order for the program ro move forward
- E.G. IF the health is < 20. here the condition states that the health must be lower than 20 in order to go into a berserk mode
- A condition is a logical test that evaluates true or false. it sets out the condition that must be true in order for the program ro move forward
- Iteration
- Repeating the same thing/move over and over again.
- e.g. barrage attack could be hit him 3 times the exact sam spot and the exact same technique.
- Repeating the same thing/move over and over again.
