1. An algorithm is a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end.

   • We usde algorithms when you need to do something and you need to follow some steps to do it
     • An algorithm can be use in our daily life is qhen you need to use a new application.
     • you can use an algorithm when you need to do an experiment and then you can follow a scientific algorithm such as scientific methody
   • -Precision: the steps are precisely stated(defined).
   • -Uniqueness: results of each step are uniquely defined and only depend on the input and the result of the preceding steps.
   • -Finiteness: the algorithm stops after a finite number of instructions are executed.
   • -Input: the algorithm receives input.
   • -Output: the algorithm produces output.
   • -Input: the algorithm receives input.
