   • Making the most logical decision which will ensure the program operates efficiently
     • If... Then... else
     • While, For loops
     • Switch case

2. Thinking Procedurally

   • The use of hierarchical charts or class diagrams
   • Identifying the priorities of the steps required
   • Problem Decomposition

3. Thinking Ahead

   • What areas of a program can be reused
   • Identify input & output of the software

4. Thinking Abstractly

   • Removal of unnessesary details
     • Stripping the program down to its core
     • Identifying the necessary / common details.

5. Thinking Concurrently

   • Which tasks can be executed in one cycle
