Computer Fundamental Components

CPU- The main processor of the computer system that processes all commands and data.

-The larger the processor the faster the computer can process commands.

Hard Drive Disk- The main ROM storage on the computer, it is one or more disks that have indented surfaces to represent data.

- The computer can have external disks inserted so they can process what is on the disk or add data to the disk.

Optical Drive- It is used for reading optical disks that are not part of the Hard drive disk.

-These disks contain indents which represent data.

The optical drive can delete, modify or add data on this optical disk.

RAM- This is the RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY which is the volatile memory within the computer.

-It is used to store the operating system, any recently made documents which haven't been saved(Stored into the ROM) and more.

Graphics Card- It is a card in the computer which generates a feed of output images to the display.
