The plastic is an organic material with many uses
They are synthetic chemical substances, called polymers, with a macromolecular structure that can be molded by heat or pressure and whose main component is carbon.
Plastic is easy to mold and work, has a low production cost, has low density, is usually waterproof, does not resist very high temperatures, is resistant to corrosion, some are not biodegradable or easy to recycle, and if burned they are very polluting.
Plastic is a very resistant and durable material, which makes it ideal in demanding applications, even being transparent sometimes helps a lot to be optical devices, apart from being easy to mold and when integrating other products to form other ranges of functions.
There are 7 types of plastics: PET / PETE (Polyethylene Terephthalate), HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene), PS (Polystyrene or Styrofoam) and various plastics (includes polycarbonate, polylactide, acrylic, acrylonitrile butadiene, styrene, fiberglass, and nylon)
The term "plastic" comes from the Greek "plastikos", and its meaning is that it is moldable, and is the shape and ease of making it and thus being able to form sheets, factories, plates, bottles, boxes, etc.
It is used for bottles, tables, vases, clothes (although it may not seem like it), boxes, bags, toys, tubes, containers, suitcases, sporting goods, furniture, etc.
The materials used to do so are natural such as cellulose, carbon, natural gas, salt, and, of course, oil.
