Nevertheless, these plants find a way to obtain water and protect themselves from heat.The most famous plant in the desert is the cactus. There are different species of cactus. The saguaro cactus is long-stemmed, and resembles a bluff. The saguaro can reach up to 40 feet in height. It can store up to hundreds of gallons of water in its soft fabric. Like all cacti, in its outer part, the saguaro has a thick, waxy layer that protects it from the sun.

• It is a lizard able to drink through your skin. When he is attacked, he puts his head between his legs showing a false head with spikes that makes them unpalatable. They put between 3 and 10 eggs, which hatch between 3 and 4 months later.
