Flashcards do conjunto (6)
- 1ContinuityThe unbroken and consistent existence or operation of something over time.
- 2Insulation ResistanceTo test the integrity of the insulation of ALL conductors, BETWEEN conductors.
- 3PolarityThe condition of having poles that are aligned or separated (e.g. positive or negative)
Electrically ensuring that all connections are in their correct terminals.
- 4ResistanceThe opposition to the flow of electrons (current).
Electrical resistance is measured in Ohms.
- 5CurrentThe flow of electrons.
The SI unit of electrical current is the Ampere (A).
- 6VoltageThe electromotive force/potential difference between two points.
Voltage is measured in Volts (V).
