- 1iterationiteration is the repetition of a process in order to generate an outcome. another word for loop
- 2selectionthere are often points where a decision must be made. this decision is known as selection, and is implemented in programming using IF/then/else statements.
- 3for and while loopsunlike a for loop, the while loop will not run n times, but until a defined condition is no longer met. If the condition is initially false, the loop body will not be executed at all
- 4data typesdata types are the classification or categorisation of data items. it represents the kind of value that tells what operations can be performed on a particular data. since everything is an object in python programming, data types are actually classes and variables are instance (object) of these classes.
- 5variablevariables are containers for storing data values. unlike other programming languages, python has no command for declaring a variable. a variable is created the moment you first assign a value to it.
- 6float/realnumbers that contain decimals
