How was the internet invented?

The internet was invented by the US (United States) defense department (military).   They funded a research arm called ARPA (Advanced Research Projects Agency). Without ARPA the internet wouldn´t exist.   In 1969, Arpa built a computer network called Arpanet, this was the first computer invented in the world.

Network:When you have two or more computers connected to each other, you have a network. The purpose of a network is to enable the sharing of files and information between multiple systems. Hypertext: is the text that links to other information. By clicking on a link in a hypertext document, a user can quickly jump to different content.  Internet:  The Internet could be described as a global network of networks. Computer networks can be connected through cables, such as Ethernet cables or phone lines, or wirelessly, using wireless networking cards that send and receive data through link: A link (short for hyperlink) is an HTML object that allows you to jump to a new location when you click or tap it. Links are found on almost every webpages and provide a simple means of navigating between pages on the web. HTML: Stands for "Hypertext Markup Language." HTML is the language used to create webpages.
