Fossil Fuels and the Environment
- Fossil fuels cause pollution to water and the air
- Coal and oil release sulphur dioxide which causes respiratory problems and acid rain
- Add to the global warming as carbon dioxide is released
- When burned, they contribute to global warming due to greenhouse gasses
