the piece is in D major-however, it begins moving towards the key of A when a G sharp accidental is placed in bar 15-It changes to A in bars 17-20

the viola, chello and double bass are the ripieno parts as shown by the bar grouping them together

there is a harpsichord accompaniment, this has moments of concertino like phrasing

the trills on the harpsichord show ornamentation, the harpsichord also uses trills as it cannot hold the note for long enough
