Chapter 1: Why should learn to write programs
Karten in diesem Stapel (6)
- 1Syntax errorsMeans that you have violated the grammar rules of python
- 2Logic errorsIs when your program has good syntax (grammar python rules) but there is a mistake in the order of the statements or mistake in how the statements relate to one another.
Example: Take a drink from your water bottle, put it in your backpack, walk to the library, and then put the top back on the bottle. - 3Types of errors:Syntax errors (you violated the grammar rules), logic errors (error in the order of the statements), semantic errors (Your program does not do what you intended for it to do)
- 4Semantic errorsIs when your code of the steps to take is syntactically perfect and in the right order, but there is simply a mistake in the program...the program does not do you intended for it to do.
- 5DebuggingIs the process of finding the cause of the error in your code.
- 6Things to try when you are work in debuggingReading: Examine your code and check that it says what you meant to say.
Running: Running different versions while you making changes in your code.
Ruminating: Take some time to think!!!!. what kind of error is ?.
what information you can get from the error messages or from the output of the program ?
What kind of error cause the bug in the program ?
What did you change last, before the problem appeared ?
Retreating: You get back to a program that works and that you understand. Then you can start rbuilding.
