- 1The Fetch Decode execute cycle is the CPU's main job. It fetches information from the RAM. Then decodes the instruction for the command unit . Then excuses it and resets the cycleThe control unit controls and monitors communications between the hardware attached to the computer. It also controls the input and output data checking if anything has gone wrong.

As each instruction gets fetched, the program counter increases its stored value by 1.the MDR holds the contents found at the location held in the MAR.it can also hold data which is to be transferred to primary memory.
- 5The Memory Address Register (MAR) holds the memory location of data that needs to be accessed.An accumulator is used for the storage of arithmetic and logic calculations
- 6The RAM temporary storage devise it holds programs that are being used for easy accessesThe Characteristics of a Secondary storage devices are:It is nonvolatile and can hold long term data. If you had no secondary storage you would lose all your data when you turned off your device.
- 7Rom holds the bios code to start the computer . It is volatile meaning it does not lose any data when the power is turned off.Computational thinking means thinking or solving problems like computer scientist.
It involves logic, assessment, patterns, automation, and generalisation. - 8we use abstraction to gather the general characteristics and to filter out of the details we do not need in order to solve our problem.Before computers can solve a problem, the problem and the ways in which it can be resolved must be understood. Decomposition helps by breaking down complex problems into more manageable parts.
