Rubrics

...are a set of parameters which evaluate students' performance on a task.

The main importance of it is that we can evaluate performance and product in an objective form. So, we do not judge the student, we evaluate performance.

Types of Rubrics

Analytic. Each

criterion is evaluated separately.

Holistic. All

criteria are evaluated simultaneously

General. Give characteristics which could be applied to different tasks.

Task-Specific. Focus the criteria and characteristics on one specific task.

Performance. It involves the whole process that students follow to accomplish a task. Steps, development
