Look at the 08.00 box. "There is no initial in the box."

"This drug is a XXX and 1 common side effect is XXX"

Check Rx and state aloud the drug, dose, form & route

Ask if they are allergic to the drug

Check the container. State aloud the drug, expiry date & amount needed

Administer using no-touch technique

Provide a drink

Ask patient if they're comfortable

Dispose of equipment

Document

Write date

Initial in 08.00 box.
