1. the motherboard

   • The motherboard is a printed circuit board that is the foundation of a computer, located on the back side or at the bottom of the computer chassis. It allocates power and allows communication to the CPU, RAM, and all other computer hardware components.

2. internal storage

   • Alternatively referred to as digital storage, storage, storage media, or storage medium, a storage device is any hardware capable of holding information either temporarily or permanently. The picture shows an example of a Drobo, an external secondary storage device.

3. output device

   • An output device is any peripheral that receives data from a computer, usually for display, projection, or physical reproduction. For example, the image shows an inkjet printer, an output device that can make a hard copy of any information shown on your monitor, which is another example of an output device. Monitors and printers are two of the most common output devices used with a computer.

4. input devices

   • an input device is any hardware device that sends data to a computer, allowing you to interact with and control it. The picture shows a Logitech trackball mouse, which is an example of an input device. The most commonly used or primary input devices on a computer are the keyboard and mouse. However, there are dozens of other devices that can also be used to input data into the computer. Below is a list of input devices that can be utilized with a computer or a computing device.

5. alpha numeric mix

   • Alphanumeric is a combination of alphabetic and numeric characters, and is used to describe the collection of Latin letters and Arabic digits or a text constructed from this collection. Merriam-Webster suggests that the term "alphanumeric" may often additionally refer to other symbols, such as punctuation and mathematical symbols.[1] In the POSIX/C[2] locale, there are either 36 (A-Z+0-9, case insensitive) or 62 (A-Z+a-z+0-9, case-sensitive) alphanumeric characters.

6. internal device

   • Internal is a term used to describe a device that is installed within the computer. For example, a video card is an internal device and a printer is an external device. When referring to a drive, an internal drive (e.g., internal hard drive) is any drive inside the computer.

7. external device

   • external device - Computer Definition. Any peripheral device that is not housed inside the computer cabinet. 8. external storage

   • external storage Any type of storage device that is connected to and controlled by a computer but is not integrated within it. Generally the devices are peripheral units such as disk drives or tape transports. An external storage device may be shared by more than one computer. "external storage."
