Computational Thinking
Abstraction
- The method of removing unnecessary details from a problem to create a simplified issue. Through this, it can become slightly easier to break down and solve.
Pattern Recognition
- By utilizing this method, you will need to recognize different patterns within the issue, which may provide a clue to solving the problem. Although it may be considered simple, it can only be used within certain types of questions.
Algorithms
- Algorithms are physical charts/lists that provide step-by-step instructions into completing a certain task. In addition, an algorithm includes visual aids that can assist the user in distinguishing different tasks and when to initiate them.
Decomposition
- As given away by the name, this method involves taking a problem and cutting it down into shorter and easier sub problems; this will provide a completed full task overall.
