1. A Matrix is an array of numbers: Consisting of Rows and Vertical columns

2. Special Matrices

   • Know only one row or on column
     • Square matrix
       • Having the same number of columns as rows C=R
     • Identity Matrix
       • where all the diagonal entries equal to 1
     • Zero Matrix
       • All the entries are zero
     • Diagonal Matrix
       • a square matrix or which all entries that are off the primary diagonal are zero .

3. Operation Of Matrix

   • Transpose
     • To "transpose" a matrix, swap the rows and columns. We put a "T" in the top right-hand corner to mean transpose:
   • Addition and Subtraction
     • To add two matrices: add the numbers in the matching positions:
     • To subtract two matrices: subtract the numbers in the matching positions:
   • Multiplication
     • by a Constant
     • by another matrix

4. inverse Matrix

   • The Inverse of a Matrix is the same idea as the reciprocal of a number
