Cloud computing advantages
- Independence
- The user can work with their files on different computers

- Reliable software
- Web software and browsers are updated online. The user doesn't have to download the latest updates
- Compatibility
- Documents and files are designed to be compatible across different machines and browsers
- Independence
cloud computing disadvantages
- Security
- Data stored online is vulnerable to security attacks
- Connection
- The user can only access their information if they have a network connection
- Software
- Web apps do not usually have many detailed functions as a full software package
- Security

- Input
- An input device is any piece of computer hardware used to provide data to a computer system
- Output
- An output device is any piece of computer hardware used to communicate the results of data that has been processed
- Processing
- Carrying out a set of instructions
- Memory
- A part of a computer that stores data
- Storage
- A storage device is a piece of computer equipment which can be used to store data.
- Peripherals
- A peripheral device is known as a computer device, such as a keyboard or printer, that is not part of the essential computer.
- Embedded
- Embedded computers are used in car engines, spacecraft and MP3 players. They are dedicated systems that are designed for a fixed purpose.
- Magnetic
- Embedded computers are used in car engines, spacecraft and MP3 players. They are dedicated systems that are designed for a fixed purpose.
- Solid state
- Embedded computers are used in car engines, spacecraft and MP3 players. They are dedicated systems that are designed for a fixed purpose.
- Optical
- Optical devices use a laser to scan the surface of a spinning disc made from metal and plastic.
