1. Encryption scrambles data so nobody else can read that information without a key or get in to the data

2. You encrypt a message or messages by making the letters numbers and then adding a key so the person you have sent it to can read it, this is called using cipher

3. You decrypt a message by writing the message using cipher and then you then you send the message as what it actually is

4. Firewall

   • The firewall blocks unknown software from accessing your files or any of your data
   • Firewall stops hackers getting into your computer and stealing any of your data as the firewall blocks this from happening.

5. Anti-Virus

   • Anti-virus software stops your pc from getting viruses and it also stops your pc from spreading viruses
   • Anti-virus software gets rid of viruses from your computer

6. How to be safe on websites

   • If an email is sent from a bank and it says dear customer it is not trustworthy as it doesn't say your name
