1. Simpliying

   • 15/24 = 5/8
     • How: You didvide the gratest common factor which is 3. So 15 divided by 3 = 5 and so on.
   • 16/20 = 4/5
     • what goes into 16 and 20?
       • 16: 1,2,3,4,8,16
       • 20: 1,2,4,5,10,20
       • commons factors are 1,2,4 and the GCF is 4.
         • 16 divided by 4 = 4 and 20 divided by 4 = 5

2. The numerator is the top and denominator is the bottom

3. Convert Decimals to fractions

   • Multiply top and bottom by 10 until you get a whole number, then simply the fraction
     • 1 - Write the decimal divided by one = 2.4/1
