Normalisation

1. 1st Form Normalisation

   • Must have a Primary Key
   • No repeating field names
   • Must have a unique field name
   • Data must be fully broken down (Atomic)

2. 2nd Form Normalisation

   • Every non-key attribute is depending on the complete primary key.
   • Must already be in 1st Form Normalisation

3. 3rd Form Normalisation

   • Must already be in 1st Form Normalisation
   • There are no-key attributes that depend on another non-key attribute
