1. Encryption

   • Two main types of data encryption exist - asymmetric encryption, and symmetric encryption.
   • Encrypted data is commonly referred to as ciphertext.
   • Currently, encryption is one of the most popular and effective data security methods used by organizations.
   • Data encryption translates data into another form, or code.
   • Only people with access to a key (formally called a decryption key) or password can read it.

2. Firewall

   • Uses rules to control incoming and outgoing network traffic.
   • A firewall is a network security system,
   • Either hardware- or software-based.

3. Passwords

   • You are usually asked for one when using websites, email accounts and your computer itself.
   • Your passwords are the most common way to prove your identity.

4. Anti-virus

   • It is designed to prevent, search for, detect, and remove software viruses.
   • A program or set of programs.
