   • solid state has a higher read/write speed compared to magnetic storage. therefore it can load things quicker than magnetic storage.
   • solid state has less memory compared to magnetic storage. therefore it can hold less apps and files.

3. optical storage

   • cd
   • blu ray
   • its more portable compared to a magnetic storage
   • has much more smaller capacity compared to magnetic storage
