    Anmerkungen:

    • The strength of force is measured in the SI unit called newtons.

      Anmerkungen:

      • The combination of all forces acting on an object
      1. Balanced Forces

        Anmerkungen:

        • Equal forces acting on one object in opposite directions.
        1. Unbalanced Forces

          Anmerkungen:

          • Can cause an object to start moving, stop moving, or change direction. 
          1. Free Fall

            Anmerkungen:

            • When the only force acting on an object is gravity. 
        2. Friction

          Anmerkungen:

          • The force that two surfaces exert on each other when they rub against each other. 
          1. Static Friction

            Anmerkungen:

            • The friction that acts on objects that are not moving.
            1. Sliding Friction

              Anmerkungen:

              • Occurs when two solid surfaces slid over each other.
              1. Rolling Friction

                • When an object rolls across a surface.

                  Anmerkungen:

                  • When a solid object moves through a fluid. 
                  1. Air Resistance

                    Anmerkungen:

                    • Objects falling through air experience a type of fluid friction.

                      • The greatest velocity of a falling object reaches. 
                2. Gravity

                  Anmerkungen:

                  • Is a force that pulls objects toward each other. 
                  1. Mass

                    Anmerkungen:

                    • Is a measure of the amount of matter in an object. The more mass an object has, the greater its gravitational force. 
                    1. Weight

                      Anmerkungen:

                      • The force of gravity on a person or object at the surface of a planet. Weight is a measure of the gravitational force exerted on an object. 
                    2. Universal Gravity

                      Anmerkungen:

                      • States that the force of gravity acts between all objects in the universe. This means that any two objects in the universe, without exception, attract each other. 
                      1. Factors Affecting Gravity

                        Anmerkungen:

                        • Two factors affect the gravitational attraction between objects: mass and distance. The gravitational force depends on the distance between the objects.  
                      2. Projectile

                        Anmerkungen:

                        • An object that is thrown. 
                        1. Inertia

                          Anmerkungen:

                          • Is the tendency of an object to resist a change in motion. 
                          1. Momentum

                            Anmerkungen:

                            • Is a characteristic of a moving object that is related to the mass and the velocity of the object. 
                            1. Law Of Conversation Of Momentum

                              Anmerkungen:

                              • States that in the absence of outside forces, the total momentum of objects that interact does not change.
