- Spot- ons: selamectin, fipronil, imidaclopramid/permethrin or off-license ivermectin and treat environment.
- Trombicula autumnalis

- Can be diagnosed by analysing exudate or seen on otoscopic examination
- Very contagious
- Can survive 21 days off host
- Can have temporary zoonosis
- Normally affect ears, if skin: head, interscapular and tail base.
- Topical preparation: thiabendazole, if 2o bacteria: antibiotics and GCs considered.
