1. Steve Jobs

   • Jobs started making Apple in 1976 with his partner, Steve Wozniak.
   • In 1998, Apple released the iMac and it sold a staggering 800,000 units in the first six months
   • In 2007 Apple released the iPhone, a phone that reveloutionised the smartphone industry.
   • Steve Jobs was born on february 24th, 1956.
   • Jobs attended Reed College in 1972 only to drop out in 1974 so he would be able to travel to India and study buddhism.

2. Grace Hopper

   • Grace Hopper was born on December 9th, 1902.
   • In 1943, Hopper swore herself into the United States Navy Reserve.
   • In 1944, she was the first person to program the Harvard Mark I computer.
   • Hopper was able to popularise the computer term 'debugging'.
   • Hopper began teaching mathematics in 1931.

3. Bill Gates

   • Gates was born on October 28th, 1955.
   • He was the CEO of Microsoft on July 2000.
   • Gates was born in Seattle, Washington.
   • Gates enrolled in Harvard college in 1973.
   • At 13, Gates attended Lakeside school.

4. Alan Turing

   • Turing was born on June 23rd, 1912
   • Alan Turing was a computer scientist, logician, mathematical biologist and many more.
   • Turing had a heavy impact on the development of computer science.
   • As Turing was the developer of computer programming language, he is sometimes referred to as the father of theoretical computer science and A.I..
   • In 1952, Turing was prosecuted for homosexual acts.
