         • Nota correct command for the coding language begin used
   • Human error with the construction of the algorithm
     • An error in the program eg stuck in a loop

4. translation

   • compiler
     • Once it is complied it dosent need the orginal source code
     • Create an executable file to run the program
     • Would be used for proprietary software
   • Assember
     • Turns assembly languge into machine code
     • only can be used in low level programming
   • Interpreter
     • Executes the source code directly
     • Used when creating a program
     • Would be used on open source software

5. Pseudocode

   • used for plainning algorithms
   • Should allow a programmer to write it in any language
   • Key words written in capital letters (eg INPUT, IF, WHILE)

6. Data type

   • Variable or constant
   • Integers and real numbers
     • integer is a whole number
       • integer is a whole number
       • Constant stays the same eg pI
         • Operations are mathematical symbols eg < > + -
     • real (sometimes called float ) can have deciaml place
   • Arrays are list of the same data type
   • Variable change furing the program eg score in a game

7. Hight level / low lever programming

   • low level is understood by the processor
     • Machine code
       • Binary codes for each instruction and register location
   • assembly language
     • written as each instruction would be processed
     • eg INP , LDA , OUT
     • codes specific to a type of processor
     • Hight level has to be translated
     • eg python BASIC javascript
     • Has to be translated
       • Use language tha is easier to understand by humans
