   • Encryption is a way of sending data that has to be scrambled and worked out.

   • You encrypt a message by using a cipher.

3. How do you decrypt a message?

   • You decrypt a message by unscrambling words, letters, or numbers and by using a key.

4. When do we use encryption?

   • We use encryption to keep our details safe and privates for example our bank details or computer log on.

5. How can you tell if a website is using encryption for your data?

   • You can find out by seeing what they have next to the link for example, https:// this should have a lock symbol next to it to show that it is a website that keeps all data safe and private.

6. Why don't all websites use encryption?

   • The reason why some websites don't use encryption is because they don't need it and probably because there website is already on lock down and private.

7. What encryption do we use in everyday life?

   • We encrypt our cloud storage and you can encrypt your emails and many other things.

8. Anti virus software

   • Is a software used to detect and destroy computer devices.

9. Firewall

   • Is a security which stops people from doing things or getting on things on your computer.
