1. Encryption protects your data by scrambeling it so no one can get in.

2. Encryption protects your personal data on your device so now one can get in.

3. It uses a cipher which is a secret way of writing a code.

4. The cipher can only be unlocked with the key for extra protection.

   • Protects a network or system from unauthorized acces with a firewall.

6. Anti-virus

   • Detects and destroys computer viruses

7. Lan

   • LAN is a local area network E.g. A school
     • This is a good network to use because it can be used over a big/small building
     • It can only be used over a short distance.

8. WPAN

   • WPAN stands for wireless personal area network.
     • This could be a good network because its wireless.
     • Its personal so it can onlu be used over a smal distancr

9. WAN

   • WAN is a wide are network wich is the biggest network that there is.
     • This is a a god network because it can be used over a wide are E.g. town,city. the whole world
