- Except at each incorrect answer the
victim was shoicked only when the
'teacher' physically forced his hand onto
the plate

hand on the plate, and the
experimenter ordered the subject
to put their hand on the plate
- RESULTS
- 12/40 subjects forcibly held the learners
hand in place
- 30%
- ... and continued to
admininster shocks
up to the maximum
450volts

- Obedience decreased as the
subject came into close proximity
with the victim
