Matlab is an interpreted environment which means that the IDE executes the command the programmer inputs is executed immediately.
For example: 5+5 is entered and the answer of 10 will be provided when you enter the arithmetic.
A semicolon ends a statement a in Matlab. However, it also stops an output from being produced.
Every variable is an array or matrix.
The who command can display all variable names you have used.
Another version of who is whos which shows size of, bytes of and the class of the variable.
To delete all the commands you have typed into the command line so far you can delete via the clear command.
Long assignment extends lines so that you can have more than one line of code executed at once.
Matlab's default short which only allows four decimal places.
However, you can use format long to display 16 decimal places.
This can also be applied in the opposite direction by using format blank.
Format blank displays the answer with two decimal places.
