the are 8 bits in a byte .and there 1000 bytes in a kilobyte. there are 1000 kilobytes in a megabyte . there are 1000 megabytes in a gigabyte. there are 1000 gigabytes in a terabyte.

calculations if you have a number of bytes and want to convert it to megabytes you divide by 1000 twice

we write binary by 1011

if we want to convert to denary we take a binary number 0011 it doubles every time so backto front 1+2=3
