Eschatology Notes

Seite 1

Eschatology means the study of last things. The events such as death, end of the world, the resurrection of the dead, Second Coming of Jesus, judgment, heaven, and hell are covered.

The main points are

- Life will not come to an end by death but will continue to eternal life

- How we live here impacts whether we spend eternity with God in heaven or in hell

- Physical death is the separation of the soul from the body

- Body only sleeps at death, the soul is fully conscious

- A foretaste of hell in Hades

- A foretaste of heaven in Paradise
