Atoms

All substances are made of atoms which are then makeup with other parts. These parts are protons, neutrons and electrons. Each of these parts are proven to have a charge, the protons having a positive charge, the electrons having negative charge and the neutron have a neutral charge.

The protons and neutrons are situated within the nucleus (which is where most of the mass is situated). The electrons orbit the nucleus and have a very small mass. The number of protons always equal the amount of electrons.
