A technology that allows you to store data as blocks - which are connected together by chainlinking : This data : has history, verifiable and immutable - ie., cannot be tampered ; analogy to village accountant who makes not of the transactions in the village and records in central ledger in the town-hall office

What is Web 3.0? A technology where the Internet is also a database and allows peer-Peer networking without need for centralized authority to regulate

What is bitcoin? A blockchain technology that allows peer to peer transactions of cash

What is decentralization ? a system where ere is no need for a regulator ;o ensure decentralization : you need :

What is a ledger? that records entry of transaction - ex., money from lender to borrower; and an equal entry in borrower from lender;

Modern database have distributed ledgers : multiple copies of ledgers that are synchronized;

issue wit digital ledger is that it can be edited;

blockchain does away with editing : by adding new block to the chain to reflect the transaction;
