Test-Taking Tips

Tests are formal assessments, or measurements of learning, that are a large part of your grade.

Tips for taking tests, quizzes, or any assessment include but are not limited to:

A. Reading the directions and items at least to to three times to get clarity before completing the assignment.

B. Answers the questions or solving the problems that you know that you know first.

C. Skipping the ones that you have no idea so that you will have time to work on the items that you do know or think that you know.

D. Come back to the questions or problems skipped so that you can make an edit guess.

E. Double check your work to ensure that you've answered the questions.
