| What are dominant and recessive alleles? | dominant=an allele that is always seen recessive= an allele only seen when there are 2 copies |

| phenotype and genotype alleles? | phenotype= how the characteristics actually look eg blue eyes. genotype= the alleles for a characteristics eg Rr |
| Whats sickle cell disease? | sickle shaped red blood cells, this means less oxygen can be carried. |
| Effects of sickle cell disease | tired, short of breath, joints can be painful as the sickle blood cells get stuck in blood vessels |
| Whats cystic fibrosis? | causes the body to produce thick mucus that particulary effect the lungs and digestive tract. |
| Symptoms of cystic fibrosis? | troublesome cough, repeated chest infections, poor weight gain. |
