  1. Nature vs Nuture

    Annotations:

    • Nature: The nature theory is based on the idea that the development is driven by biological factors ie/ driven by genetics. Nuture: The nuture theory is based on the idea that they development is influenced by the individuals surrounding the developing person eg/ those nuturing it.
    1. Continuous vs Discontinuous

      Annotations:

      • Continuous Development: Continuous development is a quantatative development where the development is gradual over time. Discontinuous Development: Discontinuous development is a qualitative development where the development can be linked to a point and/or event in time.
      1. Universal vs Context Specific

        Annotations:

        • When considering whether development is universal or context specific we have to identify if both the individual and environment are either passive or active.
