About malware quizzes

GoConqr Original

What the malware quizzes cover

The quizzes take several approaches to the unit. Chapter 8: Malware 1-10 asks learners to identify definitions of malware, while Chapter 8: Malware 11-20 includes questions on Trojans and covert channels. AntiVirus asks about scan techniques and databases.

Choose a route through the questions

Start with Chapter 8: Malware 1-10 if you want to check definitions before moving on to specific types. For a different kind of challenge, Malware 1 asks about analysing a malware file, including working with a disassembler and running strings.

As you work through a quiz, note the questions you want to revisit. If a term or relationship is unclear, switch to notes or a mind map on the Malware unit page, then return to the questions. You can also use flashcards to review vocabulary between quizzes. Choose a topic and give its questions a go.

Frequently asked questions

Which quiz can I use to start with definitions?

Try Chapter 8: Malware 1-10 if you want to check how malware is defined. Its questions include statements about malware and Trojans. You can then move to Chapter 8: Malware 11-20 for questions about Trojans, remote access Trojans and covert channels.

Are these quizzes free to use?

Yes. Every quiz listed here is free to open and take, without an account. A free account also lets you save quiz scores and make your own quizzes, mind maps, flashcards and notes. The listed resources were made by GoConqr users, not by GoConqr.

Are there quizzes for professional candidates?

Yes. The page includes CEH practice quizzes on Trojans and other attacks. Professional candidates can also explore S+ Objective 3.1 Quiz, which asks about malware that is difficult to reverse engineer. The selection includes introductory questions and questions on malware analysis too.
