The Declaration Of Independence / Bill of Rights

The Declaration of Independence was written to tell the nation that they rebelling against, the British imploring the people of the colony to come together and join the cause.

The Bill Of Rights was written because anti- federalists thought it was necessary to safeguard individual liberty.

Our modern understanding is different because it’s been around long enough for people to start accepting people for who they are and not what others want them to be .

They believe that the purpose of the government is to maintain law and order, political liberty, and the property of an individual.
