Provides servise to the sales department by keeping and controlling stocks until the time of dispatching the products to customers

Has as function main the timelysupply of raw materials or component parts to the production departments

Auxiliary Subjects

Are all those that are not components of a product but that are required to pack or pack it. We can mention lubricants, grease,fuel,labels,packaging,etc

Products in Process

Tools Warehouse

Materials in process or semi-finished items are kept under custody and control, intentionally provided by theprogramming, it can be said that they are in a warehouse of materials in process.

This must always be monitored since these are pecialized for the control of those tools,equipment and supplies that are provided to the different departments and production or maintenance operators. It is worth mentioning: drill bits,taps,emery pieces,etc

Waste Materials

The products,parts or materials rejected by the control and quality department and that do not have salvage or repair,must have a separate control;this is generally left under the care of the department itselft.

Obsolete Materials

They are those that have been discontinued in the production schedule due to lack of sales.

Returns Warehouse

Customer returns arrive here.where the products are separated and classified for reprocessing,waste and/or entering the warehouse.

CONCLUSION: Storage is a critical area for customer service.
